I've recently changed career paths to learn full stack web development after nearly ten years at a meetings and events agency. Coding has given me a new trade to learn and a powerful tool in my problem solving arsenal.
What motivates me to get a job done is the creative problem solving piece. I am driven to figure out how to build or fix a system so it runs smoothly for users, has an easy-to-use interface, and removes friction from completing a task. That's one of the reasons I decided on coding for my career change. I want to build web applications that help users complete comlex tasks in a simple, beautiful way.
